About Me
Hello! Thanks so much for dropping by! I am an Art teacher passionate about combining modern technology with traditional Art skills. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Digital Arts from Stetson University where I minored in Art and Art History, then attended the University of North Carolina where I earned an MFA in Fine Art. I have experience working with students from preschool through college level, and am currently employed as a Coordinator Teacher at Georgia Connections Academy, a virtual charter school. I love teaching Art virtually and having the opportunity to interact with a wide range of students with a variety of backgrounds and needs. If you would like to learn more about my skills and qualifications, you can peruse my resume here.
I love Art and am continually inspired by the Artists working today. I have a regular feature on this blog where I highlight inspiring Art. You can view the archives of that here. I hope you find something to inspire you!
I live in Atlanta, GA with my husband, two sons, and two cats. In my free time, I enjoy Art making, crafts (currently doing a lot of cross stitch), attempting to be a runner (I am a proud member of Hogwarts Running Club - Team Ravenclaw!), and listening to podcasts.
If you fall, I will sew you back up
