Student Art: Sculpture: Armature Construction

For this assignment, students were asked to select an animal and build a representational wire armature sculpture of it. The purpose of this assignment was to learn the process of armature building. After the armatures were complete, students covered their structure with plaster strips, testing the strength of their constructions.
