Pop Art Self Portraits

High School Digital Photography students explored self portraits and Pop Art in this unit.  We looked at examples of self portraits throughout the history of Art, and we also viewed and discussed Pop Art.  Students were then given the task to create a photographic self portrait in the style of Pop Art.  Students used a combination of filters, color effects, and drawing tools in GIMP to achieve their desired effects.
